Nevada based Maxwell-Sierra has agreed to pay $320,000 to settle claims asserted in a qui tam action filed by Scott Peterson, a technical support, quality assurance employee of Maxwell.
The allegations of the case were that Maxwell improperly tested, or failed to test, capacitors and filters, which are key electronic components in a number of military and aerospace systems.
As part of the settlement, Mr. Peterson will receive nearly $50,000 for having filed the qui tam case.
