June 15, 2006 Honeywell International Inc.

Honeywell International Inc. has agreed to pay $2.6 Million to resolve claims raised by a private relator.  The allegations of the case were that Honeywell did not properly test electrostatic protective metal sheets which were to be used in packaging over 186,000 sensitive parts used by the Department of Defense and the National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA).

As part of a settlement, the relator is to receive $393,750 for having filed the claim.
