New York based Turner Construction Company will pay $6.6 Million Dollars to settle allegations that it submitted false claims to the federal government on construction projects, which included construction of the federal courthouse in Central Islip, New York.

The allegations included claims that Turner received credits for bonds on dozens of federal contracts without passing the credits along to the federal government. As part of the settlement, Turner will also forfeit claims valued at $2.8 Million Dollars under contracts with the Department of Veterans Affair and the Department of the Navy.
