October 10, 1997 Trendway Corporation Trendway Corporation of Holland, Minnesota has agreed to pay over $1.2 Million Dollars to settle claims that it overcharged the government for furniture, because it failed to give the government the same discount it gave to commercial customers. Companies which sell goods to any branch of the federal government are required to disclose their pricing practices to the government, which includes information about available discounts or rebates.
