November 19, 1997  The Boeing Company

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has agreed to pay $2 Million Dollars to settle allegations asserted in a qui tam action filed by Douglas Oberman, a former employee. The allegations of the case were that the company overcharged the government to repair equipment used to manufacture aircraft.

As part of the settlement, Mr. Oberman will receive over $1 Million Dollars for having filed the qui tam case.
