November 28, 2006 Integris Baptist Medical Center Integris Baptist Medical Center has agreed to pay over $12 Million Dollars to settle qui tam claims filed by a former contractor, Frank Heckenkemper. Integris, a not-for-profit health organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, operates the states largest Medicare certified Heart, Liver and Kidney transplant program. The allegations of the qui tam case were that Integris improperly sought payment from Medicare for non-transplant related costs that Integris knew were not reimbursable under the Medicare program.
