May 13, 2008 — Computer Sciences Corporation

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), an information technology and business services company has agreed to pay $1,370,000.00 to settle qui tam claims filed against it by private relators Norman J. Rille and Neal A. Roberts.

The allegations of the case were that CSC solicited and received improper payments and other things of value on technology contracts with government agencies.

The government intervened in the action because payments and benefits received by CSC amounted to “kickbacks” in violation of Federal Acquisition Regulations.

Mr. Rille and Mr. Roberts are expected to receive up to 25% of the $1.37 Million as a reward for having filed the qui tam claims.
